Creekside Shiraz 2010

The fruit, and resulting wine, showed excellent focus, expressing the savoury spice and black pepper profile framed by rich red fruit and firm tannin that form the core of many Creekside Shiraz bottlings.

The fruit, and resulting wine, showed excellent focus, expressing the savoury spice and black pepper profile framed by rich red fruit and firm tannin that form the core of many Creekside Shiraz bottlings. An intriguing mix of elegant and robust, the 2010 is drinking very well now in its youth but displays the vintage’s bright acidity and intense structure, making it a prime candidate for spending 3-4 years in the cellar to evolve further depth and complexity.

Pairs very nicely with grilled meats and more spicy and flavourful meals.

"The label might say Shiraz, but it is all cool climate Syrah in the glass-pepper, raspberry, thyme and cassis. Light yet flavorful. A wine made for pasta or pizza."  87 points- Evan Saviolidis

"Ruby red with purple hue, pink at rim. Earth nose with black cherry, mint and pepper. Dry wine with medium plus acidity, rich red fruit flavour, some compote, shortest finish, fine tannins. Delicate but lots there."  88 points- Georgia Curtis
